Our move to new software and a new poker network is a fantastic upgrade that greatly enhances your poker playing experience. To get a first hand look at the new product and the exciting new features now available, we invite you to have a look at our interactive Product Tour.

New Software features and differences.

1) When is this happening?

The new product launch will take place upon your next login (if it hasn't already) with the actual software upgrade and network migration process being virtually seamless for you the player.

2) How does the software upgrade work?

The upgrade process is seamless and works in much the same fashion as your previous software upgrades. You will be prompted to upgrade to the new software on your next login. Once you confirm that you wish to do so, the new installation will be carried out automatically and your account details and login information automatically inputted into the new software client. Upon login, you will find your new account automatically created within the new software with all of your relevant account information transferred over (e.g. current balance, Action Point balance, etc.).

3) Why the change? What’s so good about this new software anyhow?

There too many things to mention in a sentence or two! To see firsthand all of the exciting new features of the new software, we invite you to preview the new software with our interactive product tour. From an expanded casino games offering to enhanced functionality to personalise your poker playing experience and beyond, we’re sure you’ll agree that our new product is something to get excited about.

4) Will the new software look different?

Our intention with the new software is to take the best features of the current version and seamlessly integrate them with the more user friendly and personalised aspects of the new product. It will look different in some new and refreshing ways, but will also share many similarities with the current software in accordance with the feedback we’ve received from our players on what they most like about the current version.

5) Will there still be as many players?

In fact, there will be many more players as a result of our move to this new network. This will afford us the ability to provide you with more gaming options, larger tournaments and bigger promotions than ever; and guarantees that you can enjoy a plethora of poker action with us for many years to come. In many ways, when it comes to online poker, bigger is better and we’re sure you’ll agree when you experience our new product on a vibrant new poker network with thousands of players from around the globe.

6) Will there be a lobby?

Our popular and unique Lobby Chat feature will remain, albeit in a new and improved Flash Popup format delivering greater ease-of-use than ever before.

7) Will I be able to play the same games?

We will continue to offer all of the most popular poker variations as well as a host of exciting new casino games, playable directly from your poker account. However, the less played Badugi will not be featured within the new product.

8) Is the new software as secure and safe?

The new software is every bit as robust and secure as the old one, and as always, your poker room will be monitored by our experienced fraud management team to ensure your poker experience is a fair and enjoyable one.

Your Account and Profile

1) What will happen to my Account balance?

Your account balance will be automatically transferred in its entirety to the new software and will be accessed via the improved account module with comprehensive information on your account, Action Points, bonuses and jackpot winnings. 2) Will my avatar and profile remain the same?

The good news is the avatar feature in the new software enables us to provide you with more exciting and realistic avatars. The bad news (if you’re particularly enamoured of your image) is your old avatars will not be making the journey to the new software. Profile data will also not be included in the new software, a plus for those players who prefer an air of mystery on the tables.

3) Can I keep my previous Screen Name?

In most cases, you will be able to keep your existing Screen Name, provided there is not a player already on the network with that name. In the event that there is a player with your existing Screen Name, or if your screen name doesn’t conform to the new software’s requirements, you will be prompted to change your Screen Name. NOTE: Screen Names are referred to as Nicknames on the new software.

4) What happens to my buddy list?

Every effort will be made to move your buddies who are also moving. In some cases (I.E: when your buddy gets a new nickname),we will make that change for you in your buddy list.

5) What happens to my player notes?

Every effort will be made to move your Player Notes. In some cases, where players who are also moving get new nicknames, we will make that change for you in your Player Notes. On the new software, player notes are also stored centrally so you can access them when you change computers.

6) What happens to my hand histories?

Your current hand histories will not be relevant to the new software but will continue to be stored in a central location for you to access after the product upgrade. The Hand History feature in the new software is much more graphic oriented and user friendly and promises to be a popular tool for new and experienced players alike. Bonuses, Action Points, VIP and Tournament Tokens

1) Will there be any change to Bonuses?

One of the most exciting aspects of the new software is the much improved bonus functionality, giving us increased flexibility to offer you a wider range of previously unavailable bonus schemes. One of the first things you’ll notice is bonuses can now be released incrementally in smaller denominations until your total bonus is released in its entirety. In other words, you’ll get to your bonus cash quicker and as you continue to play, instead of in a single lump sum. Better yet, Action Points will no longer be deducted from your Account at the time of bonus release – a welcome improvement to be sure!

2) I'm playing out a promotional bonus. How will that be reconciled?

In the first instance, that portion of the bonus for which you have already accrued Action Points will be settled and the relevant amount of Real Cash credited into your poker account during the changeover itself. The remainder of your bonus amount (that portion for which you have yet to accrue the required Action Points) will be carried forward onto the new product as Bonus Dollars and will be released in accordance with our new Bonus Release Procedures as mentioned above.

3) What will happen to my Action Points?

When migrating to the new software, your Action Point balance will be transferred in its entirety to your new account with your current Action Points increasing in denominational value by a factor of five. In other words, you will receive 1 Action Point on the new software for every 5 that you hold on the current software. All items in our Action Point store have been similarly reduced by a factor of 5 to ensure that your Action Points will carry the same purchasing power going forward.

In simple terms, your Action Point balance will be worth the same as it was previously but you will have less overall points on the new software with the individual points themselves being worth far more.

4) Will Action Points be earned in the same way?

Action Points in Real Money Ring Games are awarded for your participation in any raked hand. The amount of Action Points that you can accrue in any given raked hand increases not only as the rake contribution increases but also as you move up to the higher VIP Tiers (as per the table below).

Action Points are also awarded for your participation in Real Money Tournaments for every $1 in tournament fee paid. Again, the higher your VIP level, the more Action Points awarded per dollar of fee (as per the table below).

5) Enhanced VIP features? What’s this all about?

Our improved VIP Programme automatically recognizes and upgrades you to the appropriate VIP Level based upon your frequency of play. Designed to recognize and reward our most loyal players, the VIP Programme facilitates various perks and prizes as you advance towards the uppermost tiers with preferential treatment provided in the form of prioritised cash out procedures and access to exclusive tournaments and promotions. Most importantly, advancing to a higher VIP Level increases the rate at which you accumulate further Action Points, thereby increasing the speed with which you release bonuses and elevate to the next VIP Level.

6) What are tournament tokens?

Tournament tokens are a great new feature within our latest software upgrade. Tournament tokens allow you to enter into a selection of tournaments for free. Players can see their Tournament Tokens by clicking on the “My Account” section of the new poker room. We’ll be giving out several reward tournament tokens in the coming weeks so don’t forget to check your account when we upgrade as chances are there will be one waiting for you!

Tournaments and Ring Games

1) Are the payout structures in tournaments the same?

Our new software is more robust affording us the opportunity to deliver a higher tournament capacity of 2000 players. This enables us to offer you larger prize pools paying out a greater number of players!

2) Will the Buy-ins for ring games remain the same?

You can bring a minimum of 20 times the big blind or a maximum of 100 times the big blind on a “No Limit” or “Pot Limit” cash game. On a “Limit” cash game, you can bring a minimum of 10 times the big blind and a maximum of $5000.00.

3) Will the rake structure remain the same?

The rake structure differs primarily in two ways. First and foremost, all Pot Limit and No Limit games will have the rake capped at $3 per hand where previously games of $10/$20 and above were capped at $4. Secondly, Limit games of $50/$100 and above will have the rake capped at $5 per hand (all other stakes capped at $3). Apart from these two differences, the maximum rake cap in any game remains the same as that in place on our current software.

Depositing, Cashing out and Customer Service

1) Can I deposit and cash out the same way?

Actually, we’re sure you’ll find the Account functionality of the new software to be much improved. The process to deposit and withdraw will be virtually identical, but you will also find much more comprehensive information available in your poker account with additional info on your VIP status and perks, a snapshot of your current Action Point status, pending bonuses and much more. Further, with our enhanced VIP functionality, our most loyal and frequent players also receive first priority for cash withdrawals.

2) Will there still be live support?

Live support will continue to remain as an integral part of our commitment to providing you with top notch customer service on a 24/7 basis.
